Millie's Story
Millie is from Boston, Massachusetts. She is a widow. Her schools include Cardinal Newman High School. She later attended Stonehilll College, N. Easton, MA (Child Psychology). She also attended National University and received a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. She worked at School District of Indian River County, but is now retired from her career in education; However, she has not retired from life and runs her own business and is very active in her parish!
Millie's interests include Traveling the World. Music she likes is Oldies but goodies!

An Army brat from age 9, I had the good fortune of traveling throughout the U.S. of A. AND overseas. These experiences gave me a thirst for travel which still has a strong hold on me!! Married to a Marine who died at a tragically young age while I was working on my Master's degree, I started my career later in life, but what I thought would be my life's work in substance abuse treatment ended up being a career in education. My passion has always been working with children - regardless of age (how old ARE you??), so God lead me to the perfect venue! Life in Vero Beach has been a true gift from God - the roots that I never had growing up in a military family - and the connections which have come to be so important, along with the possibilities of being involved in community and church activities!!".
